About Nomex 410
Nomex 410 is the industry-standard aramid paper for motor slot insulation. It holds its shape after forming, resists moisture, and won't break down under the heat cycles a rewound motor sees in service. The three thicknesses in this kit cover most fractional and small industrial motor slots — 0.005 in for tight clearances, 0.007 in for general use, 0.010 in where extra wall thickness is called for.
Who it's for
Motor rewinders, coil winders, and repair shops that cut their own liners rather than buying pre-formed. Also useful for anyone building custom transformers or inductors where slot insulation needs to be fitted by hand.
